The name of the vaccine may differ between countries

TdaP Vaccine AJV is used as a booster vaccine in children from 4 years of age, adolescents and adults against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis.

TdaP Vaccine AJV contains highly purified and inactivated toxins (toxoids) obtained from cultures of Corynebacterium diphtheria, Clostridium tetani, and Bordetella pertussis. One dose contains at least 20 IU of tetanus toxoid (T), at least 2 IU of diphtheria toxoid (d) and 20 µg of pertussis toxoid. TdaP Vaccine AJV is a monocomponent acellular pertussis (aP) vaccine with one pertussis antigen, hydrogen peroxide-inactivated pertussis toxoid.

TdaP Vaccine AJV has been used since 2003 for prevention of diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis. Today the vaccine is authorised in 13 countries.
